Kajol bags 7th Filmfare award, recreates DDLJ win moment with Shah Rukh Khan: "Most epic throwback ever"

Bollywood actress Kajol celebrated her 7th Filmfare Award with a nostalgic throwback alongside Shah Rukh Khan, reminiscing about their journey since Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). The award marked a full-circle moment in her illustrious career.

Bollywood actress Kajol has recently earned her 7th Filmfare Award, and celebrated the big win with a full-circle moment. The actress shared a throwback picture with Shah Rukh Khan to celebrate her award.

Kajol took to her Instagram and shared a throwback pic with Shah Rukh from the time when she won her first black lady for "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge" back in 1995. She also included a picture of Shah Rukh from last night. The duo posed with their award in both pics.

Alongside the picture, Kajol reflected on their 3-decade-long journey and penned in the caption, "That was then. This is now.. Most epic throwback ever!! Thank you @filmfare for my 7th black lady.”

Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Karan Johar were presented with the esteemed trophy by veteran actor Anupam Kher.

The veteran actor posted a video of himself on stage with SRK, Kajol, Karan Johar, and host Maniesh Paul on social media. He was seen giving Shah Rukh and Kajol the trophy.

In the video, Kajol was heard saying in her speech, “I am very grateful to be here on this stage with some of my favourite close friends, and yes, the ’90s were so much fun for us.”

However, Shah Rukh then gave a warm hug to Anupam Kher as he received the award.

On Saturday, the 70th Filmfare Awards 2025 took place at Ahmedabad's EKA Arena. After almost 17 years, Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback as host of the esteemed awards, joined by Maniesh Paul and Karan Johar.

Kajol and Shah Rukh have collaborated for several projects like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Karan Arjun (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), My Name Is Khan (2010), and Dilwale (2015).
