The film is set against the politically tense backdrop of Kashmir and revolves around Colonel Vijay Menon, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, a decorated army officer whose life of discipline and sacrifice begins to unravel when personal and national duties collide. Kajol plays the role of a strong mother and wife, Meera, who fights to hold the family together.
However, Ibrahim portrays Harman, who portrays a young man caught between shadowed memories and unsettling truths. He is receiving praise for his intense role in the trailer.
Sarzameen is all set to release on Jio Hotstar on July 25.
