Shweta Singh Kirti launches Hindi edition of her book

The late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, posted a deeply spiritual photo from her recent trip to Kailash Mansarovar, where she introduced the Hindi version of her book Pain: A Portal to Enlightenment, entitled "दर्द: आत्मज्ञान की जागृति."

Shweta talked candidly about grief, healing, and divine connection in her heartfelt Instagram post. She also shared how she still senses her brother's presence with Lord Shiva.

Alongside a serene photo of herself holding her book against the majestic backdrop of Mount Kailash, she wrote,

“Hume lagta hai ki log marne ke baad exist nahi karte… par mujhe hamesha lagta hai, mera Bhai ab Kailash mein Shiv ji ke paas hai (We usually think that people cease to exist after death… but I’ve always felt that my brother is now with Lord Shiva in Kailash)”

She thought of the story of Samudra Manthan, where Mahadev drank poison for the sake of the world, and reflected on the place's sacredness. Shweta wrote that strength comes from turning suffering into awareness and compassion, drawing a comparison between personal suffering and divine sacrifice.

“Pain is not a weakness. It is Shiv Consciousness. Dard wahi पी sakta hai, jo auron ko bachane ki taqat rakhta hai (Pain is not a weakness; it is Shiva Consciousness. Only the one who has the strength to protect others can truly endure pain)"

She revealed that losing her brother was the most painful experience of her life — one that could have broken her — but she chose transformation over despair.

“People asked — ‘How did you survive?’ I didn’t just survive. I chose to transform it… so that someone else may heal through my journey.”

Expressing gratitude to Prabhat Prakashan for bringing out the Hindi edition, she described the book as a guide and companion for anyone who has faced loss or darkness.

“Yeh kitab sirf mere dukh ki kahani nahi hai, yeh un sabhi ke liye ek saathi hai jo zindagi mein kisi na kisi roop mein peeda, virah ya andhkaar se guzre hain (This book is not just the story of my sorrow — it is a companion for all those who have, in some form, experienced pain, separation, or darkness in life.)”

Ending her post with a heartfelt prayer, she wrote:

“Mahadev ke charnon mein nivedan hai ki jo koi bhi is pustak ko padhe, woh apne dukh ko apni shakti mein badal de. Har Har Mahadev! Jai Kailashpati! (It is my humble offering at the feet of Lord Mahadev that whoever reads this book may transform their pain into strength. Har Har Mahadev! Jai Kailashpati!)”

For those unfamiliar, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 34. His death at his Mumbai residence led to a massive outpouring of grief across the nation and prompted an extensive investigation.
