Sushant Singh Rajput, the late Bollywood actor, is back in the conversation, though in a digital form. Fans are reportedly interacting with an AI-powered tool that mimics his style, giving the feeling of chatting with the actor himself.

From tweets and interviews to speeches, the AI is trained to replicate his voice and personality, answering questions on different topics.

As reported by Mid-Day, the tool appears in the Discover AI section of the social media platform, uses artificial intelligence — trained on the late actor’s publicly available interviews, tweets, posts, and speeches — to mimic his voice and conversation style.

All one has to do is type in questions. You’ll receive responses that sound strikingly similar to how the actor spoke, with references to science, astronomy, and philosophy – subjects he really admired. So far, over 5.50 lakh people have interacted with this AI version of SSR.

According to the same portal, Sushant’s family has raised serious concerns, calling the application “insensitive” and urging Meta India to remove it.“Recreating Sushant’s voice and personality through AI is deeply distressing for his family. Many fans have flagged it off as well. Meta is yet to take a call on it. In the age of AI, controlling such tools is not possible as multiple similar bots will spring up in minutes," a Meta insider said.

Interestingly, Sushant’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, who actively advocates for justice in her brother’s case, has not publicly commented on the AI tool. This comes amid her ongoing fight to seek closure regarding Sushant’s untimely death on June 14, 2020. Since then, she has urged authorities, even reaching out to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, hoping to expedite the CBI investigation into the case.

The AI tool has reignited debates about technology, consent, and ethics. While fans see it as a way to celebrate Sushant’s legacy, the actor’s family considers it a painful reminder of his loss, highlighting the delicate balance between innovation and sensitivity.
