Legend Studios has set the stage for a massive comeback of the Mumbai underworld genre with its latest announcement — Dongri Gangster’s Paradise. Produced by Sandeep Singh and Vishal Gurnani, this high-octane action drama will be directed by Remo Gopi D’Souza, with a screenplay by Milap Milan Zaveri. The film promises an explosive mix of emotion, rivalry, and classic gangster storytelling rooted in Mumbai’s gritty streets.

At its core, Dongri Gangster’s Paradise revolves around a young, ambitious man who challenges the city’s most feared don, igniting a power struggle that defines the film’s tension. The story dives deep into loyalty, betrayal, and the price of ambition — themes that have long defined Mumbai’s cinematic crime sagas. It’s set to be visually grand, musically rich, and emotionally charged.

Sandeep Singh described the project as a long-awaited collaboration among friends. “Remo, Milap & I have been friends for years. We’ve been trying to come together for a film, and it couldn’t have been better than this. This is the most unique film under Legend Studios, and I hope people accept this genre from our banner.”

Director Remo Gopi D’Souza, best known for his dance blockbusters, called the project a creative leap. “This film is a raw, emotional, and powerful story rooted in the heart of Mumbai. The script is phenomenal, and I’m thrilled to collaborate with Sandeep Singh and Milap Zaveri to bring this rivalry to the big screen. It’s going to be an unforgettable, mass-market spectacle.”

The film begins shooting in February 2026 and is slated for a grand theatrical release on October 9, 2026. Co-produced by Juhi Parekh Mehta, Vicky Jain, and Golden Hour Production, with music by Sachin-Jigar, Dongri Gangster’s Paradise aims to reestablish Mumbai as the beating heart of cinematic crime thrillers.
