The latest episode of Two Much with Kajol & Twinkle was filled with laughter, nostalgia and a few heartwarming revelations, as hosts Kajol and Twinkle Khanna welcomed Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan to the couch.

The conversation, which started on a fun note, soon veered into parenthood — and Kajol ended up sharing a piece of advice that struck a chord with everyone.

When asked how their lives had changed after becoming parents, both Alia and Varun admitted that it had been a complete transformation.

Naturally, Alia turned the question around, asking Kajol and Twinkle if they had any parenting tips. Kajol’s reply was simple, but powerful: “Listen to them. Just listen to them.”

She went on to explain that adults often dismiss children’s words, assuming they’re too young to understand the world. But sometimes, children say things that stay with you forever. Recalling a personal moment with her son Yug, Kajol said: “I remember that my son at 8 years old turned around and at one point asked me this: ‘How much do you love yourself?’ I said I love myself maybe like 60-70% of the time. The 30% is off and on, and he was like, 'No you have to love yourself 100% of the time.’ I heard it and have kept that in mind ever since.”

Kajol’s affection for her son is well known. Just a few weeks ago, as Yug celebrated his 15th birthday, she shared a heartfelt post on Instagram: “Happy happy birthday to this little man! Ur smile is the bestest thing in the whole wide world.. May we always be arm in arm and laugh at the weirdest stuff! Love you Yug.”

Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s journey together has spanned decades. The two began dating in 1994, tied the knot in 1999, and are parents to Nysa, born in 2003, and Yug, born in 2010.

Regarding her career, Kajol's next project is Maharagni: Queen of Queens. Her most recent appearance was in the horror film Maa. The filmmakers tied the movie to the Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan film "Shaitaan" at the end.
