Television actress Avika Gor has announced that she will tie the knot with fiancé Milind Chandwani on the show Pati Patni Aur Panga on September 30.
The Sasural Simar Ka actress confirmed the good news in an interview with Hindustan Times.
Avika disclosed her wedding plans and said, “There are days when I wake up and remind myself that it’s real. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found a partner who supports me, understands me, and always pushes me to grow in life."
Avika and Millind decided to go ahead with their wedding nuptials on national television, making it a great deal but a very personal choice at the same time. She also revealed that both their families are overjoyed with the news.
She further stated, “I’ve been in the public eye since 2008, and the love and blessings I’ve received from people have been overwhelming. I wanted my audience, who have been such an important part of my journey, to also be a part of this special moment, and in some way, I manifested this.”
The actress further unveiled her idea of a dream wedding that she had envisioned since childhood. “I always used to tell my parents, ‘I will either do a court marriage that no one will get to know about, or it’s going to be a grand wedding that the whole world will celebrate with me.’ It’s like my childhood dream is coming true with this new chapter."
Avika has also said that she will finalise the invites for the wedding once she visits the Siddhivinayak Mandir in Mumbai on Monday.
For her special day, Avika opted for a classic red bridal ensemble and requested her family to have the guests dress in pastel shades. While friends from the industry like Harsh Limbachiyaa, Bharti Singh, Jannat Zubair, and Aly Goni might not be able to attend, the celebrations will see the presence of Radhe Maa, Neha Kakkar, Sonali Bendre, and several other close companions.
Avika and Milind officially announced their engagement in June this year with a series of photos from their engagement ceremony.
