Arijit Singh has won several hearts not just with his music but also with his humble lifestyle. Despite his enormous earnings, Arijit remains grounded, a quality that has earned him the admiration of his peers, including rapper Raftaar.
Recently, Raftaar and fellow singer Ikka appeared on the Honestly Saying Podcast on YouTube, where they discussed various aspects of the music industry, including Arijit Singh's unpretentious lifestyle. They highlighted how the Kesariya singer prefers to stay away from the media spotlight and does not flaunt his wealth, unlike many of his contemporaries.
Raftaar expressed his admiration for Arijit Singh's modesty, pointing out that despite his substantial financial success, Arijit chooses to live simply. Raftaar remarked that many in the music industry like to showcase their wealth, but Arijit, who earns significantly more, remains humble and low-key. He even mentioned that Singh's wealth is such that he could easily afford to "have 100 of us for lunch."
Ikka shed light on the staggering earnings of Arijit Singh. He recounted an incident where Singh was offered a duplex apartment in Mumbai for performing at a wedding. "He doesn’t like doing wedding performances. Somebody insisted that he perform. In return, he took a duplex house in Mumbai. One should check how much a duplex house costs in Mumbai. He got that for a 1-1.5-hour performance," he shared.
Ikka also shared another story that about Arijit's simplicity. After a performance, instead of waiting for his car, the singer opted to take an autorickshaw home.
