Preetika Rao slams netizen for sharing romantic edits with 'Womanizer' Harshad Arora

Known for playing Aaliya in the hit TV show Beintehaa, Preetika Rao was recently involved in a social media controversy. After an Instagram user posted romantic snippets of her and co-star Harshad Arora from their show, the actress took to social media to voice her displeasure. Preetika accused Harshad of being a "womaniser," saying he "sleeps with every woman he finds in the industry," in a direct message to the user.

The incident began when the user posted select scenes featuring Preetika and Harshad, which she had previously requested not to be shared. In her message, Preetika stated, "Shame on you! For putting these videos on your page when I have repeatedly requested you not to post my videos with a man who sleeps with every woman he finds in the industry!" She further added, "Pls note: You are doing something AGAINST THE WISH of my soul! The KARMA is yours!!! Face it!"

The actress also addressed the nature of their on-screen relationship, clarifying that only a small percentage of their scenes were romantic. She remarked, "In Beintehaa, out of 95% of no touch & we had 5% of such scenes and you are blasting this all throughout against my wishes! SHAME on YOU!" Preetika concluded her message by warning the user about the consequences of their actions, stating, "Mark my words you are taking upon yourself a very serious karma!"

The 2013 television series Beintehaa was a huge hit, winning Preetika the Gold Award for Best Debut-Female and establishing her career in the field. For his portrayal of Zain, Harshad Arora was also honoured with the ITA Award for Best Actor Popular. Because of its captivating depiction of a love-hate relationship between cousins, the show was rerun on Colours Rishtey in 2021.
