Asim Riaz ousted from another reality show after Khatro Ke Khiladi

Asim Riaz, who gained notoriety for his time on Bigg Boss 13, is once again in the news for all the wrong reasons. After reportedly getting into a heated argument with co-judges Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan, the actor and model was kicked off the reality show Battleground allegedly.

The episode took place on Thursday, April 17, the altercation got so out of hand that the production team had to completely stop shooting.

Asim's short fuse has gotten him into trouble once more, a source told India Today. The insider stated that he was asked to leave the set following the Battleground chaos, but there are reportedly ongoing behind-the-scenes talks to try to resolve the matter.

“What seemed like a normal tiff slowly became a massive fight," the source claimed. “Asim allegedly also insulted Rubina Dilaik, who intervened to sort out their differences. As things heated up, they all rushed to their vanity vans, and the shoot had to be called off."

While Asim has not responded to requests for comment, Rubina Dilaik attempted to downplay the incident, stating, “All is well.” Abhishek Malhan’s team, on the other hand, claimed to have no knowledge of the altercation.

This latest controversy comes close on the heels of his reported dismissal from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, where he was said to have clashed with fellow contestants and the show’s host, Rohit Shetty.

Asim's career path seems to be impacted by this run of scandals. After placing second in Bigg Boss 13, he was once a fan favourite, but accusations of aggressive behaviour have marred his subsequent TV appearances. Fans were particularly shocked by his departure from Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, as it followed arguments with other competitors Abhishek Kumar, Shalin Bhanot, and Karan Veer Mehra in the first episode of the show.

Reports suggest that when crew members tried to calm him down during filming, Asim allegedly remarked, “The show is getting popular because of me.” His behaviour reportedly angered Rohit Shetty, ultimately resulting in his removal from the show.
