Riding high on the success of his debut film Saiyaara, breakout star Ahaan Panday is now enjoying some extra-special appreciation — this time, from the youngest member of his family.
His nephew, baby River, has become the internet’s new favourite fan after showing his support in the most adorable way possible.
On Wednesday, Ahaan’s sister Alanna Panday took to Instagram to share a series of heart-melting photos featuring her brother and son.
In the pictures, Ahaan and River can be seen twinning in white T-shirts as they celebrated the massive box office success of Saiyaara.
However, it was little River’s T-shirt that stole the show, boldly proclaiming: “Krish Kapoor is my best friend" — a sweet reference to Ahaan’s character in the film.
She captioned the post, “@ahaanpandayy is my uncle, but Krish Kapoor is my best friend.” The images featured some candid, loving moments between the uncle-nephew duo and quickly went viral. Fans filled the comments with heart and fire emojis, gushing over the cuteness overload.
“Cutest reel-life fan ever!” read one comment, while another said, “This is gold.” Others chimed in with praise such as “The best saiyaara support team ever,” and “We were not ready for this!!! Cutesttt.”
Ahaan made his much-anticipated acting debut in Saiyaara, directed by Mohit Suri. The film tells the tale of Krish Kapoor, a hot-headed musician, and Vaani, a shy, aspiring journalist played by Aneet Padda.
Their romantic journey unfolds as they collaborate on a song, only for fate to intervene and put their bond to the test. The film also stars Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, and Alam Khan in pivotal roles.
Released on 18 July, Saiyaara opened to a thunderous response, collecting ₹21.5 crore on its first day alone. It has since continued its dream run at the box office, with fans and critics alike praising Ahaan’s impressive debut.
