The trailer for the upcoming Kannada film Agnyathavasi was released recently, creating a buzz with its intriguing blend of mystery and black magic. Directed by Janardhan Chikkanna, known for his work on Gultoo, the film is a thrilling murder-mystery set in the year 1997. Produced by Hemanth Rao, the film features a talented cast including Rangayana Raghu, Siddu Moolimani, Pavana Gowda, and Ravishankar Gowda in leading roles.
The trailer, which was dropped on April 3, 2025, starts by introducing the main characters and their relationships. As the visuals unfold, the tension builds around a mysterious murder in a village. The trailer cleverly uses the same footage and dialogue multiple times to create suspense and intrigue, hinting at the darker, supernatural elements that will play a key role in the film.
Written by Krishna Raj, the script is complemented by Charan Raj's gripping music and Advaitha Gurumurthy's atmospheric cinematography, which together enhance the eerie and mysterious vibe of the story. Agnyathavasi was first announced in early 2023 but faced several delays before settling on an April 2025 release date.

With its combination of suspense, black magic, and a gripping murder mystery, Agnyathavasi is set to captivate audiences when it hits theatres on April 11, 2025.
