PM Modi thanks Elon Musk for well wishes, highlights India's business-friendly environment

Musk congratulates PM Modi on his election victory, says looks forward to do 'exciting work' in India

In a recent exchange on social media, tech mogul Elon Musk extended his congratulations to Narendra Modi on his victory in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, tweeted his well wishes, expressing anticipation for his companies to engage in exciting work within India.

Responding to Musk's tweet, Prime Minister-designate Modi expressed his gratitude for the greetings. Modi highlighted India's talented youth, demographic advantage, predictable policies, and stable democratic polity as factors that would continue to foster a conducive business environment for all partners.

 

Several world leaders, including the US, the UK, Russia, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe and Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', have congratulanted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed their desire to collaborate closely with him.

In his responses to congratulatory messages from world leaders, Modi emphasized the strength of India's relationships with their countries and reiterated his commitment to further enhancing these ties.

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured 240 of the 543 seats and the Congress won 99.

Modi was unanimously elected as the leader of the alliance after BJP's Rajnath Singh proposed his name as the head of the BJP, the NDA parliamentary party, and the Lok Sabha. All NDA partners, including TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and JD(U) supremo Nitish Kumar, endorsed Modi's leadership and praised him during the meeting.

Narendra Modi is expected to take the oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term on June 9. Over 9,000 guests from various sectors will attend the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi and his ministerial colleagues at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The extensive guest list for Modi's oath-taking ceremony includes political leaders from both the ruling and opposition parties, as well as notable figures from the film and sports industries, top industrialists, and businessmen.
