SAMS Odisha CPET 2024

The Higher Education Department has released the third and final seat allotment list for the Common PG Entrance Test (CPET) 2024. This comes after the successful completion of the CPET exam held from July 3 to 14, 2024, and the subsequent publication of the state-wide merit list on August 5.

The provisional seat allotment list for the third round of CPET 2024 is now available on the official website of the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha: https://pg.samsodisha.gov.in/. Only candidates who participated in the choice-filling process between August 6 and 12, 2024, will be included in the seat allotment list.

Next Steps for Allotted Candidates

Eligible candidates will be presented with three options after receiving their seat allotment:

Freeze: Accepting the allocated seat and reporting to the designated college for admission confirmation by September 13, 2024.

Slide-up: Opting for this option allows candidates to participate in the subsequent upgradation process if they desire a seat in a higher-ranked college (subject to availability).

Float: This option allows candidates to retain their allotted seat while participating in the upgradation process. However, if they are not upgraded to a preferred college, they risk losing their current seat allocation.
