JoSAA 2025 Round 6 Seat Allotment Result Out at josaa.nic.in; link here

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the Round 6 seat allotment result for the JoSAA 2025 counselling on its official website josaa.nic.in. This is the final round of seat allotment under JoSAA for admissions into IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

Candidates who had opted for the slide or float option in Round 5 or had not yet been allotted a seat can now check their final seat allotment status. For IITs and the entire NIT+ system, this is the last round of JoSAA counselling. No further allotment rounds will be conducted by JoSAA.

However, for seats left vacant in NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) will carry out a separate counselling process. Candidates who did not get any seat in Round 6 can register for CSAB 2025 at csab.nic.in.

Seat Confirmation and Reporting

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in this round must complete their online reporting, which includes:

• Seat confirmation
• Fee payment
• Document upload
• Responding to queries (if raised)
• The deadline for completing this process is 20 July 2025.

It is important to note that the slide or float options are not available in Round 6. Candidates must either accept the seat or forfeit the chance. For IITs, there is also no withdrawal option at this stage.

For NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, students who wish to withdraw from the counselling process can do so until 21 July 2025. They must respond to any withdrawal-related queries by 22 July 2025.

3. Enter your JEE Main 2025 application number and password
4. View your seat allotment status
5. Save the result and download a copy for future reference
