Oben Electric launches Rorr EZ Sigma electric motorcycle, price set at Rs 1.27 lakh

Oben Electric has announced the launch of its latest electric commuter motorcycle, the Rorr EZ Sigma, at an introductory price of Rs 1.27 lakh (ex-showroom) for a limited period. The new model builds on the Rorr EZ platform, incorporating several hardware and software upgrades aimed at enhancing urban commuting for riders.

The Rorr EZ Sigma introduces features such as Reverse Mode for improved manoeuvrability in congested city areas, and a 5-inch TFT colour display equipped with navigation, trip metre, and real-time notifications for calls, messages, and music. The motorcycle features a redesigned ergonomic seat for increased comfort on longer journeys, as well as updated design graphics and the addition of a new Electric Red colour option. This joins the existing palette, which includes Photon White, Electro Amber, and Surge Cyan.

Available in two battery options, the 3.4kWh variant is priced at Rs 1.27 lakh, while the 4.4kWh model is offered at Rs 1.37 lakh, both for a limited introductory period. After the launch offer, prices will rise to Rs 1.47 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh, respectively. The company is also offering EMI options starting at Rs 2,999.

Buyers of the Rorr EZ Sigma will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to the upgraded Oben Electric app. The app provides features such as ride tracking, GPS-based ‘Find My Rorr’, geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, smart alerts, charging station locator, and remote anti-theft protection.

The Rorr EZ Sigma is powered by Oben Electric's proprietary LFP battery technology, which claims 50% higher temperature resistance, double the lifespan, and reliability suited for Indian conditions. Both battery variants offer a top speed of 95kmph, acceleration from 0 to 40kmph in 3.3 seconds, 52Nm torque, and an IDC range of up to 175km. The motorcycle supports three riding modes -- Eco, City, and Havoc -- and can be charged from 0 to 80% in 1.5 hours with its fast-charging feature.

Built on the ARX frame, the Rorr EZ Sigma is designed for Indian roads with 200mm ground clearance and a 7-step adjustable rear mono-shock suspension. Safety features include Unified Brake Assist (UBA), a Driver Alert System (DAS), wide tyres, water-wading capability up to 230mm, and security systems such as geo-fencing and battery theft lock.

Bookings for the Rorr EZ Sigma are open at Rs 2,999, with test rides available nationwide and customer deliveries set to begin from August 15, 2025. The motorcycle can also be purchased via Amazon. Oben Electric offers an 8-year or 80,000km battery warranty through its Battery Protect 8/80 Plan, available at Rs 9,999.
