Unexciting market; JSPL, Tata Motors, Maruti top losers

The market was completely lacklustre in trade, moving in a tight range around its previous closing value. The 30-share BSE Sensex dropped 38 points to 16,920 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 14 points to 5,085.20. European markets too were flat with negative bias.
