Panchayat, Mirzapur, Paatal Lok: Much-loved Prime Video shows to return with new seasons

Panchayat S3 will likely release this December on Prime Video.

There’s a whole lot of good news for those who have been waiting with bated breath to know about new seasons of some of their most favourite shows. Well, guess what? Mirzapur is back, and so is Panchayat! Presenting a glimpse of the plot lines of some of Prime Video’s returning shows:

Bandish Bandits Season 2 (Hindi)

Director Anand Tiwari returns with the second season of Bandish Bandits. Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhry reprise their roles as Radhe and Tamanna, former lovers and bandmates, who find themselves pitted against each other in a nationwide band competition. They are ably supported by a talented cast including Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Rohan Gurbaxani, Yashaswini Dayama, Aaliyah Qureshi, and Saurabh Nayyar.

Bandish Bandits Season 2 release date is yet to be announced.

Mirzapur Season 3 (Hindi)

Finally! The much-awaited new season of the crime drama is back and will see Guddu and Golu pitted against a new contender as they stake their claim to the throne. The familiar cast of Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Vijay Varma, Harshita Gaur, Anjumm Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, and Manu Rishi Chadha promise to take the series to a whole new level.

Mirzapur Season 3 release date is yet to be announced.

Paatal Lok Season 2 (Hindi)

Jaideep Ahlawat and Ishwak Singh are back as Hathiram and Ansari in the second season of the show directed by Avinash Arun Dhaware. Two seemingly disconnected cases get the duo to work together again, sending them down the track of a nebulous conspiracy. Tillotama Shome, Jahnu Barua, Gul Panag, Nagesh Kukunoor, and Anurag Arora also star in the show.

Paatal Lok Season 2 release date is yet to be announced.

Panchayat Season 3 (Hindi)

Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta and Raghubir Yadav bring back season 3 of the show. As the Panchayat elections approach, both Pradhan and Bhushan camps engage in a fierce battle to uplift their public image. Navigating the murky waters of Phulera politics, Abhishek does his best to maintain his objectivity.

Suzhal - The Vortex Season 2 (Tamil)

Pushkar Gayatri write another riveting mystery with the second season of the show. When a senior activist lawyer, Chellappa, who defended Nandini, is found murdered, Sakkarai is called in to help the family. Set against the backdrop of the massive Ashtakaali Festival in the small town of Kaalipattanam, the case unravels deeds from the past that cast long shadows on the present. The show stars Kathir, Aishwarya Rajesh, Lal, Saravanan, Manjima Mohan, Gouri Kishan, Monisha Blessy, and Samyuktha Vishwanathan.
