The countdown to Pawan Kalyan's eagerly awaited action movie, They Call Him OG, has officially started, and anticipation is building rapidly.

The movie, which is scheduled to open in theatres on September 25, 2025, is already creating a lot of attention due to its star power as well as its impressive scope, chic visuals, and now unexpectedly hefty ticket costs.

As per Pinkvilla, in true superstar fashion, the film will have a special premiere show on 24th September at 8 PM, and if you're planning to catch it first, be prepared to shell out ₹800 per ticket in Telangana.

It’s a premium price, but for Pawan Kalyan’s die-hard fans, it’s clearly worth every rupee. The premiere is expected to feel more like a festival than a film screening.

And that’s not all—there’s also a temporary ticket price hike across the state. From the release date, cinema-goers will see a ₹100 increase at single-screen theatres, and a ₹150 hike at multiplexes for a full 10-day window. It’s a bold move, but one that reflects just how much hype the film has managed to stir up.

The makers are also keeping the momentum going by dropping the film’s official trailer on 21st September, with a cheeky teaser message: “Death quota... confirm anta!!” Naturally, fans are counting down the days.

Directed by Sujeeth, They Call Him OG tells the story of Ojas Gambheera, a feared gangster who once ruled Bombay’s underworld during the late ’80s. After vanishing for a decade, he returns with a score to settle—this time against crime boss Omi Bhau, played by Emraan Hashmi.

The film also stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead, alongside a star-studded supporting cast.

Pawan Kalyan, who was last seen in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is clearly not slowing down. He’s already gearing up for his next big project, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, a remake of Vijay’s Theri, with Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna in key roles.
