Delhi will be voting in a single phase for the upcoming general election on May 25. The elections for the 18th Lok Sabha will be held from April 19 to June 1. The counting to be held on June 4, according to the Election Commission of India.
In 2019, the general election in Delhi was held in a single phase on May 12. Delhi will witness a three-way battle between the BJP, Congress and the ruling AAP.
In both 2014 and 2019, BJP won all the 7 seats in the national capital. However, the party has this time decided to drop all its sitting MPs in Delhi, except Manoj Tiwari.
The Aam Aadmi Party, which has ruled the national capital for over ten years, is trying hard to open its account in the Lok Sabha polls.
