Former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav is scheduled to participate in a meeting of the PDA (Picchda, Dalit, and Alpsankhyak) at the party office and currently has no plans to travel elsewhere.

The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister is scheduled to attend a meeting of PDA "Picchda (backward classes), Dalit and Alpsankhyak (minorities)" at the party office here and has no plans to go anywhere till now, they said.

The case pertains to the issuance of mining leases in alleged violation of e-tendering process and the Allahabad High Court had ordered the probe.

Party chief Akhilesh Yadav recently spelt out his "PDA formula" for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls as a combination of "Pichde (backward classes), Dalit and Alpasankhyak (minorities)". He said it would ensure the BJP bites the dust in the polls next year.

He also accused the BJP government of conducting "fake encounters", and said people will "encounter the BJP government in 2024" which "is necessary for saving the Constitution".
