World of Warcraft’s 10th expansion pack ‘The War Within’ comes out on August 26, 2024, for PC (Microsoft Windows) and Mac. The War Within starts The Worldsoul Saga in Blizzard’s MMORPG and is the first of the three new expansion packs, the other two yet-to-be-released expansions being World of Warcraft: Midnight and World of Warcraft: The Last Titan.

All three ‘The War Within’ game editions include World of Warcraft Dragonflight and are available for pre-purchase on Battle.net. Those who already have Dragonflight, won’t get it again as part of any The War Within edition.

World of Warcraft The War Within Base Edition includes World of Warcraft The War Within base game, World of Warcraft Dragonflight, enhanced level 70 character boost and 500 Trader’s Tender.

World of Warcraft The War Within Heroic Edition includes 750 Trader’s Tender, Algarian Stormrider mount with Skyriding and access to special racecourses and upgradable Stormrider's Attire Transmog Set, along with World of Warcraft The War Within base game, World of Warcraft Dragonflight and enhanced level 70 character boost.

World of Warcraft The War Within Epic Edition
World of Warcraft The War Within Epic Edition comes with 1000 Trader’s Tender, early access to World of Warcraft The War Within, beta access to World of Warcraft The War Within, 30 days of game time, the Storm Hatchling Pet ‘Squally’, Sandbox Storm Gryphon Toy, Deepdweller's Earthen Hearthstone effect and everything contained in World of Warcraft The War Within Heroic Edition except the 750 Trader’s Tender.
World of Warcraft The War Within: Beta access, early access and other details
Blizzard Entertainment says that beta access and early access dates are subject to change. The early access duration is 3 days.
Blizzard adds that “certain endgame features, including Mythic dungeons and weekly quests”, won’t be available during early access.
Players should also note that Trader's Tender “is granted only once per Battle.net account and region upon first purchase of each edition, at a maximum of 1000 Tender from Epic”.
