Oppo Find X9 has entered the Indian market at Rs 74,999, placing it directly against the OnePlus 15, which starts at Rs 72,999. With both devices sharing similar positioning in the premium flagship category, the comparison is centred on their specifications and feature differences rather than subjective performance impressions. A closer look highlights several areas where the Find X9 includes features that the OnePlus 15 does not offer.
Hasselblad colour calibration and better camera sensors
If there has to be one big feature missing from OnePlus 15 is the Hasselblad collaboration and all the colour calibration it brings to the table. The Oppo Find X9 comes with Hasselblad tuning and also brings the special colour calibration, dedicated modes and more. While that's one big part of the entire camera comparison between the OnePlus 15 and Oppo Find X9. There's more to the story.
The Oppo Find X9 uses a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with a 1/1.43-inch sensor size, giving it a larger light-gathering area than the OnePlus 15’s 50MP primary sensor, which is based on a smaller 1/1.56-inch unit. Oppo also pairs its main sensor with a 50MP ultrawide (1/2-inch) and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto (1/2.76-inch). In comparison, the OnePlus 15 uses a 50MP ultrawide (1/2-inch) and a 50MP 3.5x telephoto (1/3.06-inch), giving Oppo larger sensor sizes across two lenses for better detail and light capture. There's also a dedicated Monochrome sensor on board on Find X9.
Features that are similar if not better
Now, Oppo Find X9 takes on OnePlus 15 in slightly different way and approach. The Find X9 is smaller and comes with 6.59-inch display with same FHD+ resolution that gives it 460 ppi. OnePlus 15 on the other hand has bigger display with less pixel density of 450ppi. Now, the brightness levels of both the phones are same at 1800 nits and the usable refresh rate is also maxed out at 120Hz. Yes, OnePlus 15 has 165Hz refresh rate, but that's pretty much limited only the 4 or 5 games as of now. (Read more about it here)
Processor, battery, and charging
The Find X9 is powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset with a peak clock speed of 4.21GHz, while the OnePlus 15 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 clocked at 4.6GHz. While Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 has slightly higher clock speed, but the Dimensity 9500 is no slouch either. It is close behind. So much so, the real-world difference will be negligible for most users.
Battery specifications include a 7,025mAh unit on the Find X9 and a 7,300mAh capacity on the OnePlus 15. Also, the smaller display size of Find X9 compensates for the smaller battery capacity. Oppo uses 80W wired charging and OnePlus uses 120W SUPERVOOC. Both the brands offer charger in the box. Also, faster charging speeds of OnePlus 15 may come with some advantage here.
