The Battlefield 6 Battle Royale tests are currently underway. According to EA and Battlefield Labs, the upcoming Battle Royale (BR) mode is “Battlefield’s twist” on the classic BR formula of shooters, so players can expect everything that defines the core principles of the first-person shooter franchise thrown into the mix. That means class-based squads in Battle Royale who will be free to combine everything from gadgets, weapons, explosives, Strike Packages and vehicles across massive maps to secure victory and be the last one standing. We will now take a look at the different tiers of weapons, the missions and rewards being offered in the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale tests.

Alongside completing missions, Battlefield 6 Battle Royale test players should also look for loot for weapon supremacy. For Battlefield 6 Battle Royale, “there are 5 tiers of weapons to loot along with attachments, throwables (Ex. Frag Grenades), gadgets (Ex. RPGs), Strike Packages (Ex. Air Strike), armor, upgrade kits, and custom drops of favorited weapons.”

Players can find these weapons in general loot crates, class-specific crates, by unlocking armored trucks, through mission rewards or by looting defeated enemies.

In the Battlefield Battle Royale missions, squads will try to “complete objectives that offer extra rewards to gain a competitive edge over their opponents.” For example, players get extra rewards for unlocking high-value caches or planting explosives to eliminate mission-critical targets. Some of the rewards players can earn by completing these objectives are a weapons cache, vehicle key or Mobile Redeploy unit.

The available rewards will be outlined in the mission details. Once the mission objective is complete, the rewards will be airdropped, which adds an extra potential challenge as other squads will also want to have them.
