The OnePlus 15T is confirmed to launch soon in China, and the company has released several teasers that give hints about its hardware. While OnePlus hasn’t officially given any timeline, reports suggest that the phone will launch sometime later this month. OnePlus has, however, revealed that it will be a compact flagship, possibly on the lines of the OnePlus 13T, which was later launched in India with the OnePlus 13s moniker. Now, the expected specifications of the OnePlus 15T have also been revealed.
OnePlus 15T: Expected specifications, launch timeline
According to a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15T will be equipped with a 1.5K resolution screen, coupled with a 165Hz refresh rate. The tipster also confirms that it will be the only small-screen flagship in the industry to support an ultra-high refresh rate. OnePlus China President Li Jie has also confirmed on Weibo that the OnePlus 15T will come with a 6.32-inch display with a flat panel and slim bezels.
The handset is also tipped to run several games at up to 165 frames per second (fps). This means it will support 165fps in competitive titles like PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty: Mobile, League of Legends: Wild Rift, CrossFire: Legends, New Legend of the Condor Heroes, QQ Speed, Naruto Mobile, and Arena Breakout. In comparison, all of the aforementioned games support a lower 120fps count on small-screen flagship devices.
The battery seems to be another big highlight of this phone. OnePlus has revealed that the OnePlus 15T will house a 7,500mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. The phone will also come with a bunch of dust and water resistance certifications, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. The phone is likely to be confirmed in China later this month, with an Indian release timeline still unknown.
