Allu Arjun-starred Pushpa's popularity isn't limited to Indian audiences and the recent post by Wimbledon is a proof of it. In yet another unique crossover of cinema and sports, the premium tennis tournament teased fans by taking a reference from the movie, which has now become a celebrated gesture across the globe. In the post an animated photo of Novak Djokovic, seven-time Wimbledon winner, can be seen doing the signature 'Pushpa - Jhukega nahi' step. "Rukega bhi nahi aur jhukega bhi nahi" - read the caption.
Apart from Wimbledon, sportsperson, particularly cricketers breaking into 'Jhukega nahi' has turned into a common occurrence on the pitch. Former Australia opener David Warner has often celebrated his milestones by doing the same. In fact Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga was also seen celebrating his wickets by breaking out in the same gesture during the last edition of IPL. Hasaranga was playing for Rajasthan Royals and explained his "love for Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil movies" as the reason behind the celebration.

Djokovic eyes 25th Grand Slam
The All England Club might offer the likeliest spot for Djokovic to gather one more Grand Slam singles title, which would allow him to raise his career haul to 25 — a number that no tennis player ever has reached. “I would probably agree that Wimbledon could be the best chance, because of the results I had, because of how I feel, how I play in Wimbledon,” said Djokovic, who faces Alexandre Muller in the first round Tuesday. “Just getting that extra push mentally and motivation to perform the best tennis at the highest level.”
Only Roger Federer has more Wimbledon singles glories among men with eight titles. Meanwhile, Martina Navratilova has won the women's trophy nine times on the grass court. Djokovic came close to winning his eighth title and go on level terms with former rival Federer but he lost in the finals against rising superstar Carlos Alcaraz in 2023 and 2024.
All told, Djokovic has appeared in the title match each of the past six times the tournament was held (it was canceled in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic), winning it in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022. His most recent Wimbledon loss came all the way back in 2017, when he was defeated in the quarterfinals by 2010 runner-up Tomas Berdych.
