The well-known football player Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez have finally got engaged. After eight years of dating, the latter announced her engagement to the Portuguese football player on her Instagram account on Monday, August 11.

She captioned a photo of her gorgeous, hefty, oval-shaped diamond ring, saying, “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives."

Georgina Rodriguez: Who is she?

Georgina Rodriguez was born on January 27, 1994, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to a Spanish mother and an Argentine father. She also has an elder sister. She lived with her parents at first before relocating to Spain when she was quite young. She resided in the province of Huesca, close to the French border, in the northern Spanish city of Jaca.

When Georgina was a teenager, her mother passed away. She died in an car accident. She was also burdened with additional responsibilities because her father was often in and out of jail on drug trafficking charges. As a teenager and young adult, she worked at a variety of occupations to support her family, even though she was a skilled ballet dancer. She made just £125 a week as a nanny in Bristol, England, after working as a waitress in Jaca.

The pair is finally engaged after eight years of dating.

Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo are parents to five kids. In 2010, Cristiano Jr., the Portuguese football player's first kid, was born. It is not known to the public who the latter's mother is. Through surrogacy, Cristiano had twins Eva and Mateo in 2017, seven years later.

In the same year, he and Georgina welcomed Alana Martina, their first daughter. The pair revealed that they were expecting twins in October 2021, marking the announcement of their second pregnancy. In April 2022, they lost Bella's twin brother, who passed away at delivery.
