In the latest India vs Pakistan clash, the script flipped dramatically as Pakistan’s batters launched an aggressive assault on the Indian attack, leaving the bowlers struggling for control in the opening 10 overs. Leading the charge was opener Sahibzada Farhan, who produced a blistering half-century to put his team on top.

Farhan’s innings, however, wasn’t entirely without drama. He was handed two lifelines, both dropped catches by Abhishek Sharma and he made full use of those reprieves to punish India. The right-hander stormed to a 34-ball fifty, bringing up the milestone in style by dispatching Axar Patel for a towering six, before marking the achievement with a unique celebration that caught plenty of attention.

Farhan began cautiously but shifted gears after the dismissal of his opening partner, Fakhar Zaman. The innings stood in sharp contrast to his outing against India a week earlier, when he labored to 40 runs off 44 balls.

This contest marked the second meeting between India and Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. Their earlier group-stage clash ended in a one-sided affair, with India cruising to victory.

This time, however, Farhan’s explosive knock signaled that Pakistan were determined to pose a far sterner challenge to the reigning T20 World Cup champions.
