After enduring a lean patch in Australia, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma along with kids visited Premanand Maharaj ji at Vrindavan. The couple also interacted with the Maharaj, who lauded Kohli for making the nation happy with his performance on the field. A video of the interaction has gone viral on social media.
Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Kohli has visited a spiritual place. A couple of years ago when Kohli was experiencing rough patch, he had visited the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram in Kainchi Dham with his wife.

Kohli was not at his usual best in Australia despite slamming a ton in the series opener in Perth. He managed to accumulate 190 runs from nine innings at an average of 23.75. He was dismissed eight times while nudging the ball outside the off-stump line, a weakness which Australian bowlers capitalised on.
Apart from that, Kohli was also involve in a physical altercation with 19-year-old Sam Konstas, whom the former shoulder dashed during the fourth Test in Melbourne. The incident took place during the first innings of the contest as Konstas went on a rampage mode against India's premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah.
Kohli avoided a suspension but was fined 20 percent of his match fees for his action. In addition, he was also vividly upset with the crowd behaviour, leading to reactions such as "Sandpaper" gestures or angry stares at them. His performance in Australia put his red-ball future in scrutiny, with many experts urging the talismanic batter to return to domestic cricket.
Kohli will now shift focus to white-ball cricket as Team India gears for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which gets underway from February 19. He along with skipper Rohit Sharma, who too had an underwhelming show in Australia, are expected to form the batting core of India's ODI squad.
