India star and Lucknow Super Giants captain Rishabh Pant roared back to form in style, smashing a sensational century against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Tuesday (May 27). The wicketkeeper-batter, who holds the record as the most expensive player in IPL history at Rs 27 crore, had been enduring a lean run this season. But at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Pant silenced his critics with a commanding knock and marked the moment with his trademark acrobatic celebration, sending the home crowd into a frenzy.

Pant completed his century in just 54 deliveries helping LSG post a formidable total of 227 runs against RCB. Heading into the match, the LSG captain only had 151 runs across 11 innings with an average of 13.773 and strike-rate of 107.90.
