Former India cricketer and Gautam Gambhir's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) teammate Manoj Tiwary recently labelled the India coach as 'hypocrite'. Tiwary slammed Gambhir's appointment as head coach after India lost the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 3-1 against Australia claiming the 2011 World Cup winner lacks clarity as a coach.
KKR pacer Harshit Rana and former captain Nitish Rana firmly dismissed Tiwary's claims, expressing their support for Gambhir through social media.
However, former India opener Aakash Chopra highlighted the striking similarities between their statements, remarking that they seemed like a "Chat GPT product."
"Harshit Rana and Nitish Rana voiced their support for Gambhir on social media. If you look at it, it looks like a Chat GPT product," Chopra said while speaking on his YouTube channel.
"There are many similarities in both statements, or someone wrote them and sent them to post on social media. It felt like both statements were written by the same man or machine. It could be Chat GPT, for all we know," he added.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Tiwary discussed various factors contributing to India's defeat, asserting that poor selection decisions played a significant role. He also questioned Gambhir's coaching credentials, emphasizing that mentoring IPL franchises is vastly different from coaching at the international level.
Reacting to Tiwary's comments, Aakash Chopra further said, "Manoj Tiwary is right about one thing: he talked about Gautam Gambhir's old comment about foreign coaches. Let's be fair: Gautam Gambhir selected Ryan ten Doeschate and Morne Morkel. I have to be honest. Both Morne and Ryan are people with a heart of gold. They are sincere and honest, but they are not Indian."
"On the other hand, Manoj Tiwary talked about Gautam getting all the credit for KKR's success in IPL in 2012 and 2014. When discussing credit, you should give it, not take it. MS Dhoni never says anything, he stands on the completely opposite end, he never asks for credit but people give him credit. He has never asked for credit in a public forum, and people might not like him getting credit, but Dhoni has never asked for it himself," he added.
Gambhir is a 'hypocrite'
"Gautam Gambhir is a hypocrite. He doesn’t do what he says. The captain (Rohit) is from Mumbai, Abhishek Nayar is from Mumbai. Rohit has been pushed to the forefront. There is no one to speak for Jalaj Saxena. He performs well but keeps quiet," said Tiwary about his decisions as coach.
"What is the use of a bowling coach? Whatever the coach says, he will agree. Morne Morkel came from Lucknow Super Giants. Abhishek Nayar was at Kolkata Knight Riders with Gambhir and the Indian head coach knows that he will not go against his instructions," he said.
