On Thursday, the Indian team celebrated its World Cup win with an open-top bus parade on Marine Drive, drawing large crowds. Following the one-kilometer-long roadshow, Team India was felicitated by the BCCI at the packed Wankhede Stadium.
During the ceremony, India captain Rohit dedicated the World Cup trophy to the "entire nation" and praised the Mumbai crowd for their support.
