The relationship between India and Pakistan is becoming more and more sour by the second. As if the controversy over the no-handshake wasn't enough to drive Pakistan and the PCB off the field, some former cricket players have started crossing the line.
While Rashid Latif and Shahid Afridi went below the belt, criticizing India's integrity and accused the squad of displaying its true colors, Shoaib Akhtar, as usual, was unreserved in his criticism of the situation. None of them, though, went as low as Mohammad Yousuf, who insulted captain Suryakumar Yadav on live television by using a fairly offensive epithet.

As a guest expert on a panel discussion on SAMAA TV, Yusuf was asked to comment on the outcome of the match, which saw the Men in Blue defeat their formerly bitter rivals by commanding seven wickets, as well as India's choice to not shake hands with the Pakistani side after the game.
But Yousuf's remarks were unimaginable since he immediately resorted to name-calling and accused the Indian side of foul play.

The conversation proceeded as follows:
Yousuf: India cannot escape their castle of illusion. Their captain, Suarkumar Yadav…
Anchor: It's Suryakumar Yadav
Yousuf: Yeah, that's what I said. Suarkumar Yadav
Anchor: No, his name is Suryakumar Yadav
Yousuf: Oh, okay! He is Suarkumar Yadav. India should be ashamed of itself because of its shenanigans to win matches: keeping the Umpire in cohorts and torturing the referee to act according to them. There is a limit to everything.
A low level rhetoric from Yousuf Yohana (converted) on a national TV program. He called India captain Suryakumar Yadav as "Suar" (pig).

Because far too many decisions went in India's favor—not because they were suspicious, but because they were close or just deserved to—Yousuf questioned the integrity of the umpires. Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy each gave India two LBWs against Pakistan, leaving the batsmen at sixes and sevens.
A handful of the umpire's calls were incorrect. The DRS came to their aid after Fakhar Zaman, Salman Agha, and Sahibzada Farhan successfully reviewed their decision.
Even though they disproved the umpires, Pakistan was only able to manage 127/9 from 20 overs due to opposition from the lower order, which included a cameo of 16-ball 33 from Shaheen Afridi that included four sixes.
In response, India dominated the chase and ended the game in 16 overs. The team got off to a quick start thanks to Abhishek Sharma, who helped India score nearly half of the required runs inside the Powerplay. Just like in recent head-to-head matches, India easily defeated Pakistan despite losing the wickets of Shubman Gill, Abhishek, and Tilak Varma.
Yousuf has a history of not knowing when to keep his mouth shut. He had previously attacked Ramiz Raja on a live TV broadcast around ten years ago, in 2016, and the two got into a heated verbal altercation.
Muhammad Amir, who had recently resumed playing cricket for Pakistan following his ban in the 2010 spot-fixing controversy, was at the center of the discussion. The former batter retaliated by labeling Raja nothing more than a "English teacher" after Ramiz subtly made fun of Yousuf by stating that "people should stop lying once they grow a beard."
Yousuf's altercation with Sourav Ganguly on the pitch during the 2005 India-Pakistan ODI series is another notorious event linked to him. Ganguly approached Yousuf as he was receiving medical attention from a physiotherapist and pleaded, "Just make sure I am not fined or penalized for this act of yours." The 'get lost' gesture was observed directed at the former India captain, but Yousuf's exact remarks were not audible since he was not near the stump mic.
