Pakistan ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan made an honest revelation about his English speaking skills after getting trolled numerous times. Rizwan has frequently been trolled on social media for viral clips showing his English during team meetings and net sessions. Since taking over as Pakistan's captain, the scrutiny has only intensified. However, he has made it clear that such criticism doesn't bother him.
"I don’t care," Rizwan told media, speaking in Urdu. "I am proud of one thing and that is whatever I say, I say from my heart. I don’t know English. My only regret is that I did not get enough education, but I am not even one per cent ashamed that I can’t speak English despite being the captain of the Pakistan cricket team," he added.

“The demand from me is cricket, not English. There is a regret that I did not complete my education, which is why I struggle in speaking English. I tell my juniors to complete their education so that they are able to speak good English," Rizwan said.
“At the moment, Pakistan is demanding cricket from me. Pakistan is not demanding English from me. When it does, I will leave cricket and become a professor—but I don’t have that much time," the Pakistani wicketkeeper batter concluded.
Mohammad Rizwan said "I don't care about trollers. I am not educated; I don't know how to speak English. I am here to play cricket; I am not here to teach English. My nation demands cricket from me Alhamdullilah. I don't have time to learn English" pic.twitter.com/Pdy1cs6053

Rizwan is set to lead the Multan Sultans in the upcoming PSL season, but he's facing pressure as a captain following Pakistan’s unexpected winless group-stage exit from the Champions Trophy at home.
Not long after the tournament, he was removed from his role as T20I captain. He then took charge of the ODI team for the tour of New Zealand, but the side endured another series defeat against the Kiwis.
Rizwan has faced ongoing mockery on social media for his English, especially during his tenure as Pakistan’s captain. Ahead of his first match in the PSL, he addressed the criticism, expressing regret over not having access to formal education but emphasizing that he isn’t embarrassed by how he communicates today.
During the toss for Multan’s opening game against Karachi Kings, Rizwan made a simple request: “I want to speak in Urdu, please.”
