Virat Kohli is no stranger to attention when it comes to fans. However, the cricketer lost his patience during his recent encounter on his way to Alibaug. In a video that surfaced on the internet, Kohli can be heard telling the fans to leave his way and not block it. In a frustrated tone, Kohli was heard saying,"bhai mera raasta mat roko".

The incident occurred as Kohli was on his way to Alibaug. He gently nudged the fan aside, making a careful attempt to resume his journey. Watch the video here...

As per reports, Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma have bought a villa in Alibaug. The reports also suggest that the power couple will host a housewarming party at the venue on Thursday.

Kohli came back from Australia last week following 1-3 Border-Gavaskar Trophy series loss against Australia. There has been speculation that Kohli will play Ranji Trophy to find his mojo back specially after the reports floating around that BCCI have asked players to play domestic cricket when not on national duty.

When did Kohli play his last Ranji Trophy match?

The last time Kohli played a Ranji Trophy match was in 2012. The match was played in Ghaziabad against Uttar Pradesh (Group B, November 2-5), which featured the likes of Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra, Ishant Sharma, Suresh Raina, Mohammed Kaif and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Perhaps it was one of the last star-studded games played in India's premier domestic tournament.

Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan in an interaction with Star Sports blasted at the current culture and called for a change to fix the problem. He then mentioned the name of batting legend Sachin Tendulkar. “We have to change the culture. Even the great Sachin Tendulkar played Ranji Trophy even when it wasn’t required of him, only because he wanted to spend that much time on the pitch,” he said.
