Australia women’s cricketer Megan Schutt and partner Jess Holyoake have decided to part ways after a ten-year-long relationship. Schutt is the highest wicket-taker in women’s T20Is, and Holyoake worked as a facilities manager for the Cricket Australia.

Schutt shared a lengthy note on Instagram, revealing the same. She started with “life doesn’t always go as planned, and Jess and I have decided to end our relationship. It’s been an action-packed 10 years, and I’m so thankful to have had so many amazing memories."

Even after parting ways, this message shows the respect and strong bond they had over the past decade. Schutt and Holyoake got married in 2019.

The Australian cricketer also shared that one of the most important aspects of their relationship was their daughter, Rylee. “Our beautiful girl will always be our number one priority”.

"Jess and I can now spend the time becoming the best versions of ourselves, not only for us, but for Rylee too."
