Where the Chiranjeevis Are Believed to Reside Today?

Ashwatthama: Ashwatthama is believed to walk through dense forests and remote regions. His forehead wound is said to remain unhealed, and many legends claim people still hear his cries in silent wilderness.

King Mahabali: Mahabali is believed to visit Kerala once a year during Onam, blessing his people with prosperity and happiness. His presence continues to be celebrated through ancient customs.

Veda Vyasa: Veda Vyasa is said to meditate in the Himalayan caves, continuing his tapasya. His eternal presence symbolizes wisdom and preservation of sacred knowledge.

Ashwatthama

Son of Dronacharya, Ashwatthama fought in the Kurukshetra War. After using forbidden weapons, he was cursed by Lord Krishna to wander eternally. His life teaches the consequences of anger and impulsive actions.

King Mahabali

Mahabali’s devotion touched Lord Vishnu, who appeared as Vamana. After offering everything, including his own head, Mahabali received immortality and the right to visit his people every year. He represents charity and humility.

Veda Vyasa

Veda Vyasa compiled the Vedas and authored the Mahabharata. He made sacred knowledge accessible to all. His presence symbolizes learning, wisdom and preservation.

Hanuman

Vibhishana

Kripacharya

Parashurama 

A fierce devotee of Shiva, Parashurama eradicated corrupt rulers and restored justice. His immortality represents divine strength and the continuous protection of dharma.
