Kamala Jayanti 2025: Kamala Jayanti is a sacred celebration dedicated to Goddess Kamala, observed on Ashwina month Amavasya (Purnimanta Kartika month). Goddess Kamala is the tenth Mahavidya of the ten Mahavidyas, and is revered as a form of Tantrik Lakshmi and is deeply connected with wealth, prosperity, fertility and good fortune. Devotees believe that worshipping Goddess Kamala ensures abundance in money, grains and overall prosperity. Like Goddess Lakshmi, she is fond of lotus flowers, symbolizing purity and spiritual growth. Her Sadhana is also considered beneficial for protecting the womb and blessing devotees with children.

Goddess Kamala belongs to the Kali Kula and is considered the Vaishnavi Shakti of Lord Vishnu. She is often worshipped as Goddess Bhargavi and described as the Leela companion of Lord Vishnu. Religious texts such as the Aagam, Nigam, Varahi Tantra, Swatantra Tantra, and Kalika Purana describe Her glory and divine feats. According to these texts:

• Lord Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are said to worship Her.
• She is sometimes called Tripura due to Her association with Lord Shiva’s Tripura form.
• In the Purushasukta, she is described as the consort of Lord Vishnu.
