Amid the reports of multiple UFO( read drones) sightings in the skies above New Jersey in the USA have left people and the administration looking for answers. Local media reports have amplified the speculation with people calling for some action.
Meanwhile, Luis Elizondo, former head of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, made a startling revelation last month in a written testimony before the US Congress: " We are not alone in the cosmos."
Luis Elizondo also stated in a written testimony," Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena(UAP) are real. Advanced technologies not made by the US Government – or any other government – are monitoring sensitive military installations around the globe. Furthermore, the US is in possession of UAP technologies, as are some of our adversaries. I believe we are in the midst of a multi-decade, secretive arms race—one funded by misallocated taxpayer dollars and hidden from our elected representatives and oversight bodies."
In the written testimony Luis Elizondo further stated,"Although much of my Government work on the UAP subject still remains classified, excessive secrecy has led to grave misdeeds against loyal civil servants, military personnel, and the public – all to hide the fact that we are not alone in the cosmos."
Meanwhile, for weeks now, the distinctive blinking lights and whirling rotors of large unmanned aerial vehicles have been spotted across the state west of New York.
But military brass, elected representatives and investigators have been unable to explain the recurring UFO phenomenon.
Sam Lugo, 23, who works in the Club Studio gym in New Jersey's Bergen county, one of the corners of the state that has seen several drone sightings, called the reports "crazy." "It's pretty concerning they were sighted... without explanation. It can be alarming," he said to news agency AFP.
The White House said the sightings featured in a briefing received by President Joe Biden, while National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said there was "no evidence" of a threat -- and that they may be manned aircraft.
"There's just no indication that this is some sort of foreign, malign activity -- or, in fact, even criminal," Kirby said.
