    Weak sentiments were witnessed in Black Pepper spot market as fresh arrivals from the new crop has started hitting the market. Planters were plucking the whole berries, both mature and immature during the time because of the drought conditions prevailing in growing regions. As per International Pepper Community (IPC) 2016’s projection, global black pepper consumption for the year is 463,000 tons against production of 414,000 tons, resulting in a supply deficit of 49,000 tons.By: Skymetweather.com
