Right from the beginning of the financial year 2016/17, the cashew kernel exports have been going down due to high prices of raw nuts and dwindling stocks. Cashew exports fell around 25% to 36895 tons values at Rs. 2138 crore for six months of September 30’ 2016 from a year ago. As per the export promotion council of India, the drop-in value was 13%.By: Skymetweather.com
