As per reports, Rice prices have risen sharply in last couple of months in North Indian states on quality concern for Kharif crops and low Rabi sowing. Rabi Rice has been sown in an area of 21.77 lakh hectares as compared to 25.64 lakh hectares sown at the same time last year.
