Rahul Krishnan’s audacious online stunt has escalated beyond his control. After publicly sharing his credit card details and encouraging users to make transactions under Rs 1,000, the BoldCare co-founder is now facing an onslaught of emails requesting payment approvals.

Krishnan recently shared a screenshot of one such email, which had the subject line: "Sir please approve payment from your card." The sender politely wrote, "Sir, I hope this email finds you well. Please approve my payment of Zomato."

Another screenshot showed a similar request from a different sender. In response to the growing chaos, Krishnan admitted, jokingly "This is getting out of hand a little bit now."

The episode had its inception on Monday when Krishnan, in celebration of "Sextember," took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his credit card number, expiration date, and security code, with the message: “Happy Sextember, everyone.” He allowed users to make transactions up to Rs 1,000 and shared One-Time Passwords (OTPs) in response to their purchases.
For hours, Krishnan kept the frenzy going, sharing close to 200 OTPs with users eager to make small purchases on platforms like Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, and Amazon. He momentarily paused the stunt, tweeting, “Okay everyone let’s take a breather, I’ll restart sharing OTPs in 30 minutes,” adding that the card’s limit was Rs 3 lakhs.

However, after five hours of activity, Krishnan announced that his card had likely been blocked by his bank due to suspicious transactions, ending the spree with a final update: "I think my number is blocked, so no more OTPs, unfortunately."

BoldCare, a sexual wellness brand co-owned by actor Ranveer Singh, is no stranger to headline-grabbing tactics. The brand previously collaborated with adult star Johnny Sins in an advertisement with Singh.
