Shark Tank India's Amit Jain recently spilled some beans on why other judges are rude to him on the business reality show and why he does not hit back at them. The question was asked after a row between Jain and fellow Shark Anupam Mittal in the latest episode of the show.
While participating in a Reddit AMA (ask me anything) session, the CarDekho co-founder and CEO was asked why he doesn't give a "strong reply" to those who are rude to him, Jain answered in one word -- 'sanskaar' or manners.
Another Reddit user questioned, how he deals with Anupam Mittal being rude on the show to him. Amit Jain said that outside Shark Tank India the entrepreneurs have mutual respect.
A third user asked that given the amount of drama that goes on in the show, if it is scripted. Jain replied that there’s not an iota of scripting on Shark Tank India. "There is zero scripting in the show. Only difference is that the pitches are 1.15 minutes on average. You see a very edited version which may have the heated points more than often in the television version," Jain wrote. "When there are alpha personalities fighting for same deals, there are bound to be heated ones also. Post the tank (the show), it does get normalised as we are mature people. The emotional hangover isn't there post tank.
Anupam Mittal and Amit Jain have shared some pretty stiff moments in the show including an episode where the Shaadi.com founder called Jain a Shark whom "no one knows".
