Realme X spotted on Geekbench, this time with a Snapdragon 710 SoC & 8GB RAM

A TENAA listings showed the Realme X with a Snapdragon 730 SoC under the hood.

There is a lot of hype around the Realme X which is the Chinese smartphone maker's upcoming flagship launch. Several reports have surfaced over the past weeks revealing the keys specs of the Realme X and its Lite variant Realme X Youth. Although specifications of the Realme X have been leaked multiple times, the Geekbench listings reveal something contrary.

Realme is all set to launch the Realme X and Realme X Youth in China on May 15. The Realme X has been spotted on Geekbench and the listings confirm that the smartphone would come in an 8GB RAM variant.

The latest listings show a Realme device with model number RMX1901 with a Snapdragon 710 SoC. This is the same model number spotted on TENAA listings which showed the Realme X with a Snapdragon 730 SoC under the hood.

As per the latest Geekbench listings, the Realme X would come with a 1.71GHz octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 8GB RAM. Booting on Android 9, the device has got a single-core score of 1506 and 5837 points on the multi-score tests.

Other specifications of Realme X include a 6.5-inch notch-less display with no-notch and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It would come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added screen protection. The Snapdragon 7 series processor is expected to come paired with 6GB/ 8GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB on board.

In terms of optics, the Realme X may come with a dual-camera setup. The primary sensor is speculated to be a 48MP lens with a secondary 5MP sensor. The front camera would have a pop-up mechanism. The smartphone could come with a 3,680 mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast-charging support. The Realme X is expected to start at Yuan 1,599 for 6GB + 64GB variant, Yuan 1,799 for 6GB+ 128GB variant, and Yuan 1,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant.

The Realme X Youth would launch in China as a rebranded version of the Realme 3 Pro on May 15. The company could also launch a Realme X Pro speculated to come with Snapdragon 855 SoC onboard. The 6GB+128GB variant is expected to cost Yuan 2,299 whereas the 8GB+128GB could cost Yuan 2,599. No other details are available as yet.
