Jaipur experienced heavy rainfall on Thursday, leading to significant disruptions throughout the city, including severe waterlogging at Jaipur International Airport (JIA). The downpour left various areas submerged, causing inconvenience to residents and travelers alike.
A video capturing a pilot's struggle to enter JIA amidst the flooding has gone viral on social media. The footage, shared by X user Veena Jain, showed the pilot navigating the waterlogged entrance with the assistance of an airport staff member pushing a trolley. Jain captioned the video, "This is Jaipur Adani Airport. Here pilots fly even before boarding a flight... trolley itself is enough to fly."

The video began with a view of the airport entrance submerged in water. As the pilot attempted to make his way inside, he resorted to climbing onto a trolley to avoid wading through the flooded area. The airport staff member then pushed the trolley, allowing the pilot to reach the terminal dry.
Since being shared, the video has garnered over 11,000 views, along with numerous likes and comments.
One commenter remarked, "Everywhere there is the problem of proper drainage resulting in water logging. It's really a shame." Another user, Pratik Kumar Mishra, added, "Wow, what an entrance! I'm curious how the average traveller will get into the airport—maybe they'll need a boat, or is it an air+water port now?"
"Where do they select engineers & architects from? Failed colleges? It's a joke or what. Everywhere it's the same story," a third user remarked.
