Bengaluru's infamous traffic recently made a bride ditch her car and rush off to take a metro to reach her wedding venue on time. A video of the "peak Bengaluru moment" is now viral on social media with match-making site Bharat Matrimony terming it "Metrowaale Dulhania Le Jaayenga".

In the clip, the bride was seen rushing through the metro gates with her family while taking pictures on the platform and inside the train. The incident also sparked a discussion on the city's traffic woes.

Commenting on the video, X user Prasad Kolluri (@prasad_kvsk) wrote, "May God bless the couple for a happy married life. I hope the authorities make a note of it. Ideally, a bride and a groom are not supposed to roam around openly like this. For how long will this city suffer with its traffic woes." Another user Ravi Kumar (@ravigk24) said, "Thanks to Metro. What if Metro wasn't there?" "Marriage cancel," replied a third user.

Meanwhile, Bharat Matrimony replied, "Now screening: Metrowaale Dulhania Le Jaayenga."

In a similar incident where Bengaluru traffic played the villain, a newly-wed man reportedly ran away from his bride a day after their wedding. The incident took place last February when the couple was returning from church, when their car was stuck in Mahadevapura, according to a Times of India report.

The man opened the door of the car in the middle of the road and ran away. His wife got off the car and tried to chase but she couldn’t catch up with him.

The woman then filed a complaint with the Bengaluru Police.
