Oppo is planning to add new devices under its new sub-brand Reno. The company launched two devices last month in China, namely Reno and Reno 10x Zoom Edition. Two new devices have been reportedly spotted on TENAA and Bluetooth SIG.
Oppo is working on two new smartphones under his Reno sub-brand with model numbers OPPO CPH1983 and CPH1979. The Bluetooth SIG listing has revealed almost all key specifications of the smartphones, except the name.
Starting with the OPPO CPH1983, it sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display. The smartphone is expected to have an all-screen design with a wedge-like pop-up camera seen on its counterparts. The listing further reveals that the CPH1983 would get powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor with a peak clock rate of 2.2 GHz, as reported by 91Mobiles.
On the optics front, the CPH1983 has a dual camera setup with a 16MP primary shooter with a secondary 2MP sensor. The front camera has a 25MP sensor. Other details mentioned include 4G and Dual Wi-Fi support. The smartphone would boot on Android 9.0 based Color OS 6.0.
The CPH1979, on the other hand, has a slightly taller 6.41-inch AMOLED+ display. It gets a MediaTek Helio P90 processor instead of a Qualcomm Snapdragon series. The SoC is Octa-core and clocks at 2.2GHz. The CPH1979 sports a dual camera setup. It consists of a primary 48MP sensor and a 5MP secondary lens. For selfies, the front camera has a 32MP sensor. The smartphone packs a massive 4,035 mAh battery with no word on fast charging support.
The listing does not give out details on RAM and storage options or the date of availability. Oppo has not confirmed the existence of these devices either. However, considering the listings on TENAA and Bluetooth SIG, these devices are expected to launch soon. The two devices would join Oppo Reno's lineup which currently consists of Reno and Reno 10x Zoom Edition.
