After launching its Find X9 series, Oppo is now gearing up to release its Reno 15 series, which is scheduled for a global debut on October 28. This Reno 15 series is expected to include three models: the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Max. However, a tipster has suggested the global roadmap of these devices, which suggests that one of these smartphones won’t make the global launch. Moreover, the Reno 15 Pro Max’s camera details have also been revealed.
Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max: Expected launch details, specifications
In a post on Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the key specifications of an ‘R15 series super cup’ smartphone, which is expected to be the upcoming Oppo Reno 15 Pro Max. The tipster stated that the phone could feature a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP5 primary shooter. Further, the phone is expected to come with a 50MP ultra-wide and 50MP telephoto shooter.
The tipster also revealed that the Reno 15 Pro Max will have a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED panel with a flat design and symmetrical bezels. Previous leaks have suggested that the phone will likely pack a 6,500 mAh battery and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC.
However, it seems that the phone won’t make its global or India debut, as according to X tipster Yogesh Brar, the Reno 15 Pro Max will now stay exclusive to China, while the global release will include only the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, which is set to happen on October 28. As for its China release, the top-end Reno 15 Pro Max is expected to be released before the end of this year.
