Varenya’s Borbora fluent English has been widely praised, especially considering her age.

A 10-year-old girl from Jorhat, Assam, has taken the internet by storm with her creative content. Varenya Borbora—better known online as Vivacious Varenya—recently made an appearance on "The Ranveer Show", hosted by popular content creator and entrepreneur Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps.

During the interview, Allahbadia appeared visibly surprised by Varenya’s calm self-assurance and sizeable online following. When she revealed that her Instagram account was nearing two million followers at the time, the host exclaimed in disbelief. Since the episode aired, her follower count has surpassed the two-million mark, marking a major milestone for the young creator.

When asked about the source of her self-confidence, Varenya explained that it stemmed from the consistent encouragement and praise she received from her family, friends, and even strangers online.

She recalled that her journey into the public eye began with a school performance. “My sister encouraged me to sing ‘Everything I Am’ at school,” she said. The positive feedback she received from her classmates after the performance sparked her self-belief. That early recognition, she explained, made her feel “valued,” and it became the foundation for her growing confidence.

“Whenever people appreciate me, it just feels so good. It helps me believe in myself more and more,” Varenya said on the podcast.

Varenya’s fluent English has been widely praised, especially considering her age. She attributed her language skills to early exposure to English-language media.

“I started watching English movies and cartoons, and that’s how I began picking it up. I actually understood English better than Assamese at one point,” she said.

This passion for the English language eventually became a central theme in her content. Many of her videos are focused on language learning, speaking tips, and light-hearted messages delivered in English—often with a charming tone that blends confidence and calm.

She first went viral with a video in which she tapped a meditation bowl and asked, “Are you feeling a little anxious today?” Her voice and composed delivery captivated viewers across the country.

Behind Varenya’s content is a tightly knit support system. Her mother, Masumi Sharma Borbora, manages her Instagram presence, while her father, Pranjal Borbora, runs her YouTube channel, which includes vlogs, music, and educational content. Her elder sister also plays a key role by editing the videos.

Varenya began her content creation journey organically, simply by filming playful videos at home. “I used to grab my mum’s phone and record house tours for fun,” she recalled. Those spontaneous clips soon evolved into more structured content, helping her YouTube channel grow to over 16,500 subscribers.

In addition to her linguistic talents and social presence, Varenya is also a budding singer. She frequently uploads cover versions of English songs, combining her love of music with her communication skills.
